@aljazeera Mom claims she was planning to return in two weeks. Why? She thought Ukraine will successfully defend in two weeks? She rather thought Ukraine will be defeated in two weeks? Then for somebody who was planning to return in two weeks, picking UK, which is very far, is questionable as well. Why not Poland? Why not Germany? Too many questions.

For me, #Mastodon has just reached the second level of degeneration. First one happened one year ago after the great Twitter migration, when I've realized I can't read the whole Local timeline anymore on a daily basis - it got too big. Second one is as I'm realizing that blocking accounts that I consider moronic already takes too much time during an ongoing internet drama.

@charadon I've no problem with this particular instance, still find it useful FOSS content wise. just too much bs I don't like started to flow in lately. you know, those people who want to police everyone and put words in their mouths, but instantly switch to victim mode when being called on that kind of behavior
