       @DrTCombs I wouldn't take it personally, corporations care about money, not you.  It's a decision made on a liability basis I'm sure.  One of the prime demographics of e-bikes is court-ordered license suspendees.  The limiter is there for the company to protect themselves against lawsuits from drunks putting themselves in a ditch.

       @atheistengineer I've been politically aware since the eighties, and the Republican party of today not only resembles nothing like then, it's the crazy opposite now. No rule of law, love the Russians, on and on. The entire party is now a seditious criminal enterprise. Unbelievable.

       @selea My limited knowledge: Highly qualified employees is the only option of which I'm aware, then the pockets to pay them and the technological costs they deem appropriate.  Or contract with an organization that already does, like cloudflare.That is to say I fully agree, the options are less than myriad.

       My daughter drew tattoos on her hand. One is a heart with a yin and yang in it. The other is a broken heart with a crown on top. Very nice. 👍
