       @drq IIRC, instead of `?` you can use `$1`, `$2` and so on.If you're tired of writing SQL strings by hand, we maintain the sqrl project at my current job:https://github.com/SharperShape/sqrlIt's a bit nicer than concatenating strings with possible typos all the time :)

       One thing that annoys me in Russian language is how people tend to call an underscore (_). 10/10 people will name it literally as "lower underline" <нижнее подчёркивание>.It make NO sense! What is being underlined? Empty space? How do you imagine an upper UNDERline?C'mon it's an underscore! <нижняя черта>

       @drq AFAIK, большая часть фичей камеры живёт в HAL (hardware abstraction layer), которую производители открывают из-за GPL. Само приложение камеры пользуется стандартным API, которое этот HAL и реализует.Короче, по идее, проблем быть не должно, но я тут мимо крокодил, особо не в курсе деталей.

       I'm trying to wrap my head around Nix and NixOS. I've read the pills and some random docs, so I have a basic understanding of the language (at least I think so)Now I need more advanced guides on how to organize my configuration in a concise way.        @causa_arcana К полезным ссылочкам в конце можно добавить freenom - это бесплатные домены второго уровня. Несмотря на то, что поисковики их почти не индексируют, это хороший старт.Ещё по теме релеванты генераторы статических веб-сайтов, они позволяют отделить представление сайта (HTML, CSS) от его содержания (Markdown), писать становится быстрее и приятней. Очень рекомендую Zola (https://getzola.org)

       @causa_arcana Freenom - это полноценный регистратор (в зонах ml, tk и ещё нескольких), поэтому домен "твой", просто ты его покупаешь на год за $0. Если не хочется продлевать каждый год - можно заплатить, как у остальных регистраторов.

       I'm updating my project from Godot3.4 to Godot4.1, and it... sucks :(1. TileMaps were reworked, so the upgrade tool just deleted the whole thing. I had to recreate all TileSets manually and then draw all the maps from scratch.2. Parallax works somehow differently, so the initial sprite placement was completely off, had to adjust everything manually.3. In total, I've spent ~8 hours fixing all the quirks in a project with only one level just to make it work locally as it was before.4 ... and then I launched it on my phone, and it instantly crashed. Spent 3 more hours to find the cause: `uniform` usage in shaders. I changed it to `const` instead. Less flexible, but whatever.5. ... and then I tried HTML5 export. Turns out, it now requires SharedArrayBuffer feature, and the webserver needs to set some headers. So it's no longer possible to host on Github/Gitlab Pages.6. I've tried switching to Cloudflare (which supports it), but it has a filesize limit of 25Mb. The only file that is bigger is the engine itself, and after some digging around, it turns out that Godot always bundles:* JS runtime* 2D/3D runtime* 3D Physics* OpenGL AND Vulkan backends* Virtual Reality runtime (XR)7. To get rid of the features I'm not using, I'm now recompiling "export templates" from the engine sources...It's amazing how quickly software rots :blobcat_thisisfine:

       If we remove gender markings, in Barbie Land there are 2 classes: oppressors and oppressed. Through the course of the movie, the oppressed peacefully overthrow the government, but then oppressors infiltrate their ranks, provoke internal conflicts, and using a moment of weakness take the majority in the Parliament and pass a law that enforces the status quo.Now, the oppressed ones are back to square one and are told to achieve what their had for a brief moment by NORMAL means (while the power is still in the oppressors' hands).All of this is told like a happy-ending story. Guess the big corporations *really* don't get the point 🤦#barbie
