       @lauren Balloons, famously, go where the wind takes them, and while the wind is to a degree predictable and I find it easy to believe a balloon launch could be set up to deliver a balloon to "somewhere over North America" you're not gonna be able to target anything in particular, and we're talking about the year 2023 and  a country with a half-century of spy satellite experience.

       I'm still not clear on how the experts think they're gonna get everyone to agree that 8PM is late night and stop scheduling stuff for that late so we can get up at 4AM with the sun in the summer

       @grammargirl @waltman my experience with KN-95s (which is limited) is that the ones I tried are *not* almost-N95s, they are deluxe blue-baggies. Not nearly as all-day no-problem can-still-see-just-fine comfortable as any of my favorite N95s like the 3M 9205 Aura
