@geordie @NewtonMark Nice concept in theory. Unfortunately families and churches have power dynamics which mean the young adults in question most definitely do not have free choice. If your church and family has less of this problem, I'm genuinely happy for you. But it was not my experience.

@geordie @NewtonMark thankfully i avoided the dark shit. Looking back, the tipping point was probably my sister telling the nuns that the Easter bunny rolled away the rock from the tomb on the third day. Hard to take it seriously after that.

@futurebird Dedekind showed that any two models of Peano arithmetic are isomorphic. In laymen's terms, if there is something that works like we expect arithmetic to, it will have just the one zero. This is not obvious, and your student is to be commended for trying things out!
