@Gina Born and lived 30 years in #belgium. Now working 10 years in #netherlands: I totally get what you mean :-/The way roads are maintained is sadly inefficient on the French side. But the geology and the climate are not helping - so are saying the engineers there.Here is what you have underground:https://www.liegetourisme.be/medias/images/prestataires/multitailles/1200x900_photo-DEC-ALD0100098R-ANX0W01160001.jpg

@mmu_man @aeris @xakanNon, il y a encore mieux. Mais tout dépend de l'application. Cat5e devrait permettre 1Gb sur 100m si je me souviens bien.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twisted_pair#Typeshttps://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category_5_cable#Characteristics

@Gina In my opinion, if a company want certified people to keep up with deals they have with suppliers and/or clients. Then, they are usually keen to help you get them.But if they do require certs as a pre, chances are they are either rushing to hire or not that much clever (HR is not IT). And then you better not ending up working for them.

@mastsec I would rather see an opt-in version indeed.

@Gina good to hear. But stay safe: it is everywhere. Half of my relative are either positive, either in quarantine, so are the neighbors.

@Gina Depends of your budget, but Rancilio Silvia, even second hands, is a great start. In theory, it is wise to spend the same amount on a decent grinder. But getting freshly grinded coffee once a week from a shop using a professional grinder turned out being largely satisfying for us

@shalien I would still recommend #gitlab in some cases (in regard with CI maybe).But it comes with a lot of complexity (and therefore some quite regular CVE's)I do favor #forgeio by default for its simplicity and transparency (also facilitating migration).

@simon_brooke I've just flashed 3 devices with #eOS and like with Aurora on CalyxOS, apps from Google Play can be installed anonymously and I've not found any problem yet: banking, e2e messaging, fediverse and my news apps works just like on stock Android, thanks to microG I guess.
