They do what they want, and the fact that they took the time to think about it an explain their decision is already something they were not forced to do.Happy or not, they probably won't change it based on the fact that you harass them on a regular basis.You tell a lot of people to stop repeating themselves, but honestly you should just start checking yourself at this point. What you do is annoying, not clearly argumented, not healthy and it wouldn't change anything anyway. See the GPL license for more information.

@nev @Gina @tk lol, Torvalds as an example of a fossbro ? He chose GPL because it was convenient at the time, especially for peer-reviewing reasons. As most kernel developers do, he wants efficiency, and doesn't give a fuck about political views.The whole idea behind toxic fossbros is the same as any community that has radical members. Vegans, feminists, or anything else. You just mostly hear the toxic ones. But hey, this is how life has always been.

@nev @Gina @tk see, the fact that you consider it a "movement" is inherently wrong in the first place. Free software has never been about federating people under the same flag.You can either :- abide by its rules- fork it and apply your own CoC- ignore it and move on with your life- harass the developer to force him to get on your side (oh wait, this one seems weird)CoCs and political correctness are the enemies of efficiency in every technical domains.

@r000t I've been seeing it used by four different people by now.It not only concerns this one but a handful of "irrefutable" arguments that have never been either socially or scientifically proven in the past, and used as a form of last resort argument because a few people agreed that there were good ones. They don't even bother listening to you if you don't take it as a valid one.This is just annoying me tbh.
