@stux yes, I see your point. However, they do pay more Tax by default because of their footprint. And if a company is foreign, it's extra money rolling in the State's Tax Agency.

@stux from what I'm getting it's the SMTP Service on the other side that is responding awkwardly when you send that test email from Lemmy.Here's a suggestion: when setting up that Email server, see that it is configured to allow connections from your Lemmy VM/Instance there properly.Other avenues you can try is 1) enable/disable TLS when sending & accepting, or 2) figure out how you can set SMTP_DEBUG=true on the Email Service/Instance for more logging.

@stux it was the right decision to unblock the domain and admit it was a rushed choice on your part. No worries, we all do mistakes sometimes. It's important to learn from this experience.Thus I could grasp at least a couple of points as feed forward: 1) consider establising an Announcements mechanism where people decent heads-up about such a wide-impacting action.2) openly mention future issues to the Community you have here, perhaps via a Poll, as their Input help your decision-making.

@stux @jimp you may be right -- the Captcha is the problem somehow, but perhaps not how you think about it.Looking at the requests, every Captcha loading seems doubled.Could you double-check the Sign-up Page where the JavaScript Code (i.e., <script></script> bits) related to Captcha is located such that it is not doubled by mistake when you guys added it?

@stux @jimp these guys at https://infosec.pub/signup seem to have the same problem, but looks like they removed/commented out the Captcha Code snippets altogether from the Sign-up Form, probably because of that Request-doubling behaviour.I was able to Sign-up nps, if there was no Captcha.
