@dangillmor Big Journalism = Corporate Journalism in the US. Has there ever been a for-profit corporation that hasn't meddled within its own organizational boundaries in the furtherance of its own profit objectives? Journalistic standards may provide some protection, but they cannot fend off the parent corporate wolf a 100% of the time. We don't trust Govt. Media for good reason, why should we trust Big Media any more? A different funding paradigm must be invented for Journalism to thrive.

@futurebird @timnitGebru @cstross Judging by the coordinated attack on #Biden, there's a good chance he was pushed out by the #billionaires/#donor-class for either the proposed 25% tax on them or the temporary stoppage of weapons to #israel or both. #Harris will be subject to the same forces, and if the 25% tax originated from her office, she won't stand a chance; & there's not enough #small-donor support to make her a viable candidate without.This had nothing to do with the #polls, IMHO.
