@dwarf @edaroya Embrocation: basically petroleum jelly with hot sauce in it. Helps with blood flow in the legs and keeping rain off you skin. Usually used in the spring/ fall when its too warm for tights but too cold to be truly bare legged. Also used under tights to help stay warm down to about -10c. Ever get hot sauce in a cut? same thing but now your whole legs. Fun on a bun. Now, the hairy jersy? I don't know, it found me, and I'm terrified.

@edaroya Life Pro Tip: books taken off the shelf and then collected by staff still count as the item circulating, typically called "in-house". So, if you have a favorite series or title that you want to stay available or see more of, and don't want to check out; just pull it off the shelf and leave it somewhere visible. Great way to keep some of the less popular stuff on the shelves.
