@grainloom @jookia CVS was initially developed in 1986, the WWW was invented in 1989.Subversion has existed since, what, 1997?Vastly better tools exist, and have existed for decades. Email is not just a bad choice, it is the worst choice of all possible choices for doing software dev.

@grainloom @jookia federation isn’t a good thing without a lot of work going into building improved UX and abuse prevention into the federation, which email has failed to do.I can support your choice to use email and still think it’s building exclusionary barriers to entry and providing an inferior user experience, a feature common to floss tools and communities
