@ThomasWic Alan Alda was the first celebrity male feminist. Nauseating. "MASH" reruns are shown on MeTV and oh my God the MUGGING!! Not to mention the canned laughter. Alda was good as a prick TV producer in Woody Allen's "Crimes and Misdemeanors"

@timr @Joycevor We had "Strange Tales of Science Fiction" on Friday night and "Chiller" on Saturday. Monday morning at school (GRADE school I'll have you know) the boys scornfully talk about the movies. The big word was phony, as in "did you see 'The Brain from Planet Arous' on Friday?! That was so PHONY!!!".

And yes, they would yell for Ma to trow me down some money for the moom pitchas-it would be wrapped in a rag. They also used to go into Manhattan to Radio City Music Hall-a very Big Deal. She saw King Kong there.
