I don't like #GitHub, I much rather hope that more projects and repos host their own #Git instances or better yet use #Codeberg or #Gitlab(which reminds me i need to update my GitLab again)

@iro_miya Mainly for me, it's not owned by #Microsoft so that'll reduce my reliance and connection with them moreSecondly, it's also open source under an MIT license, unlike GitHub which is closed source (thanks M$)I much prefer Codeberg and GitLab over the proprietary king

@iro_miya I must bet that Codeberg could be the better alternative to GitHub for those who really dislike Microsoft and want something ran by a non-profitIdk, due to the amount of hate M$ receives from the open source community, I feel pressured to leave GitHub but I'm hesitant to do so, I try to not let my paranoia get to me again

My irl friends are convincing me that I’ll be left behind if I don’t use platforms like #Snapchat, #Instagram, or even #WhatsApp to communicate with othersI try convincing them #Signal, #Matrix, and even #Fedi are better options all around, they should give it a try (ofc, they just try to convince me again the same thing)I hate it :blobcatangery:

@iro_miya no no, you don’t need ‘task killers’ anymore or kill tasks yourself as Android can now manage the resources and RAM accordingly for youFor cache, each separate app, you still need to clear it out individually
