@kev @jle It used to be possible to use Cloudflare API to change nameservers, but they have blocked that as of Feb 2021 (spoke with their customer support about it). They require Cloudflare nameservers to use their registrar.

It'd be neat if Google does something like HEY - close your account but we will forward all of your incoming emails to your preferred address.

@joeligj12 I'd use a temp address (SimpleLogin for example) and save its password on my password manager. Finally, turn off that address on SimpleLogin dashboard. So, account exists but emails don't reach me. SimpleLogin discards them.

@joel I want to try briar but make it work only on the Tailscale interface. Doesn't seem possible unless I rebuild the Android app, which I don't have a clue about.

@joel As far as I know, tracking protection requires an invite too, but not the shareable kind like in DuckDuckGo Email Protection. So, you have to enroll again.

@joel @ru Yeah, I emailed the admins before signing up here. They don't have a policy on recycling usernames yet, mostly for the reason that Mastodon does not have an underlying technology to allow recycling of usernames.
