@Big_Diggity Mine's a Dell XPS M1330, running #LinuxMint.Other specs unknown, as it was being thrown out by a FOAF who couldn't run Excel on it anymore 😂(It does still have the "Windows Vista" sticker on the wrist rest)

@anathema_device I use #LinuxMint, but I'd be surprised if #Ubuntu doesn't have the same or similar effect(s).Play with customising your window frames, colours, transparency, multiple desktops, window control icon appearance and placement, window behaviours etc."Wobbly Windows" makes windows stretch, then snap back, as you move them.

@lowqualityfacts Low quality facts is right! It's "Harald", not Harold. It's "Jonkensonson", not Jenkinson. It's a burial mound, not a basement. The "door" is not "stuck" - I put a burning longship in front of it to try to stop you sneaking in and playing with my axes!!

@giflian @andymckay I started with an Elna 1000, and after a while bought a fancy electronic Singer …something. After trying all the fiddly fancys, and finding that they often didn't really match the advertising hyperbole, it's the basic Elna that gets used.Learning about all the optional feet available was a real eye-opener, and the feet in kits of 30+ from eBay are identical to the $100 per attachment "jen-you-whine" feet.

@lowqualityfacts I eat a salted moss diet to increase my strength for pickleball, because I use sweet potatoes instead of the wimpy standard ball.

@vik @Unixbigot Why don't they tie it into a long rope and wrap it around the outside of the ISS as an extra protective layer against micro-meteorites or wandering StarLinks?
