for anyone following the #FediBlock hashtag:there's a list of the top 500 most blocked instances going aroundthat list is raw data. it is not curated in any way whatsoever for any context, including:the most common reason citedthe relationships between the blocking instanceswho spread the information to recommend the blockwhen the blocks happened over timewhether they were blocked for reasons compatible with the values your instance should espouse - fash instances get fed up with people and block them too!curating that information will take a lot of work and it will take even more due diligence vetting who you'll trust to do that work than it takes to vet any given instancethe top 20-30 on that list are mostly safe bets to defederate for most people following this hashtagbut there's a lot of noise after #100 or so

@WomanCorn if someone on your instance posts a bigoted reply to someone who doens't know your instance from adam.mastodon.social, they can check your instance rules to see if they should bother reaching out to you to take admin action, or just send the report to their own admin recommending a defed
