@murtezayesil @selea My suggestion would be just setup a irc server with tls implementation on your vps/home server, then install an irc client(like revolution irc) on Android, and connect to server and that's it. From then people can join and chat. For limiting outside connections, you could setup static ip and implement iptable rules to block outsiders. Irc brings back nostalgia.

@murtezayesil @selea I completely overlooked the video chat part. Sorry about that. Didn't know the problem with revolution irc either(haven't faced such issue myself). How about jitsi meet for video calling? Have you gave it a try? Also, what about xmpp, instead of irc?

@murtezayesil @selea Or matrix could be a pretty good alternative nevertheless.

I think Beneath a Steel Sky requires a player with an insane amount of IQ to get through it. This game is brilliant and at the same time very tough! Currently I'm figuring out how to get the fingerprint to unlock the door to the wine cell. If you're into puzzles and mind games, you'll find this game to be extremely fascinating.

@icedquinn Hell, I had to watch a youtube video to actually figure out the cable and the hook part combination to get to security building. Couldn't figure that out in 2014 and probably removed it back then.

If someone's wifi password is their wifi-name and then 1 through 8 digits in the end, chances are it's either a honeypot or owned by an elder(not always). If later is the case, please do change your password. Reset the router, set up a strong passkey. Set up a wifi certificate, and also for your devices, so that only devices with your certificate can only connect. Change the default router login credentials. Most wifi with weak passwords have default admin:admin credentials.#SECURE_YOUR_WIFI

@murtezayesil Needless to say, firefox OS had far less resource and man power compared to ChromeOS.

@icedquinn Despite of incoming port being something other than 443, defining RELATED,ESTABLISHED will accept any port connections that went through 443. It would be a disaster to accept ports for every site. RELATED,ESTABLISHED creates a handshake between anything going out of 443 and RELATED incoming ports.

@icedquinn That way, if a site happens to use ports like 45859 for OUTPUT and 443 as INPUT, the pc will send web request to 443 and bring anything RELATED back. Hence whitelisting wouldn't be necessary. Otherwise, it would take all day to whitelisting arbitary ports with tcpdump. Or now that I think of it, it could be scripted(I think with tcpdump in a way). hmm...will look into that later ^_^

It's possible to display tabs as characters in vim. For example, to make it look like mine, you could put these 2 lines in your .vimrc;set listset listchars=tab:●-

If you're prone to frequent typos while working on your terminal, there's a python program called "thefuck" which could come to be handy ^_^ The gif below shows it in action. Take a look: https://github.com/nvbn/thefuck

wish there was also an option to limit posts to current instance and followers only instead of the whole world(public). there's publicthere's unlisted (doesn't show up on public timeline, but people can see if they visit your profile)there's followers only-> there should be one to limit to current instance and followers onlyHaven't looked into mastodon codebase, would it be hard to implement?
