@killyourfm no need to agree or disagree, it could be a configurable option (I think @pixelfed has something similar in the settings), so it's the user to choose what to see 👍

@gossithedog @molly0xfff @kennwhite not her fault (loosing the posts). As far as I know posts are NOT being transferred when you migrate and this can be a bad thing in some cases (imagine you are transferring because the old instance is shutting down).

@shadowfacts the only thing that bothers me in Tusker is that I can’t see toots boosts, favs and replies numbers unless I open the post (just like you see in this screenshot taken from another client). Is there any plan to add this in the future? Thanks

@simon how much RAM do you have on it? 16GB? 24GB? 32GB?I'm trying to understand if 16GB would be enough for my usage (mainly Chrome + Slack + Docker + VSCode or when I don't work Lightroom / Ableton) or if I should aim to 24 or 32.Thanks!

@icecubesapp I don’t mind. I keep them enabled only to get them in the “bell” icon. I would disable them all if I could still see notifications numbers in app 😕

I think defederating Threads is a huge missed opportunity for Mastodon to grow. Imagine interacting with their users and letting them know that: you scroll posts without ads, your timeline is in chronological order, your client doesn’t spy on you, you only see what you want and no other content is pushed to your timeline, etc… if I was a Threads users, I would move to Mastodon as soon as I find out 🙂

@simon @glyph @jahanson I do love this feature and I intentionally enabled it ages ago. When someone opens a new service or launch a blog, I just add the domain to the Allow List and I can connect to it.

Question for #Obsidian users: if I select a folder and then click on "New note" icon, why is the note created in the root and not inside the selected folder?This is one of the most annoying things when I use it 🤔
