@Respig @chrisITSCM @rolf @nipos Dass es nicht schlimmer als die Grippe von 2018 ist, würde ich nicht sagen. Wir können das aus meiner Sicht nicht abschließend beurteilen. Wir hatten zwar in Deutschland 2020 keine Übersterblichkeit, aber es gab ja auch Maßnahmen. Allerdings wissen wir nicht, wie sehr und in welchen Punkten die geholfen oder teilweise vllt. sogar geschadet haben.

Can you recommend a more liberal instance than mastodon.technology, where I am at? The admin doesn&#39;t want for example well-reasoned, scientifically undermined vaccine skepticism, just because it would draw a certain clientele.His code of conduct is a bit too strict for my taste. @wjmaggos @p@freespeechextremist.com That is how I understand liberalism, yes. So classical liberalists rejected the trade restrictions of that time. My knowledge is superficial about that, but in that historice situation »free trade« makes sense to me, when it was a privilege. Maybe it was a mistake to call it free trade. It should have been called equal trade. Because it was indeed free, but only for some. And that is the problem. We need the same rules and freedoms for everyone. Damnit!

@wauz Najoo. Zum body count kann ich nix sagen. Aber der PCR-Test kann zwar ohne Berücksichtigung des CT-Werts keinen Infektion feststellen, aber dennoch einen groben Indikator dafür liefern, wie das Virus zirkuliert. Aber eben einschließlich asymptomatischer Träger.

@wauz Hm. Aber bei gleichbleibend hoher Testkapazität bzw. Berücksichtigung derselben kann ich doch zumindest im zeitlichen Verlauf einen Anstieg oder Abfall der Viruszirkulation feststellen.Das daraus nicht direkt proportional eine Letalität abgeleitet werden kann, dürfte klar sein.
