At some point russia will simply lack the means to keep going.Did you see what they try to do attacks with these days? It increasingly looks like russia is scraping the bottom of the barrel. Without help from North Korea they would already lack artillery ammunition.

       @raccoon @EugeneMcParland We see videos of russians going on assaults with cobbled together civilian vehicles, motorcycles and soldiers on crutches. That doesn’t look sustainable to me.The russian warbloggers also seem to get desperate; apparently they were hoping for Trump to sell out Ukraine. Now that this has not happened, they whine a lot. Especially about Ukrainian drones hitting russian refineries with increasing frequency.

       @NeonPurpleStar @noelreports I actually made an account on Bluesky a while back. I still think Mastodon is the better model.Also, I haven’t found a proper (Mac) desktop app for Bluesky yet and the browser stuff is just not to my liking.

       @NeonPurpleStar @noelreports Fediverse is a stupid name. One reason this thing is not taking off is the pathetic marketing.Yes, I don’t see how Bluesky is any ‚safer’ than Twitter. Someone can just buy it, change the underlying tech and then, after a while, do whatever they want. Yes, they might lose _some_ users. But not many. Most people will be too lazy to do anything about until it’s too late. Again.
