so i almost dropped a bowl onto the floor but not quitethen luna dropped one and it shatteredthen we partially cleaned the floors, and while eating the AC gave up so we also had to clean itit's 4:30am2025 is still going great :3 /s

@sodiboo@gaysex.cloud if you already typed it, why do you need a picker? at best it would just show that same emoji in the results, at which point it would have been less effort to just type it with the native input method directly, without the picker

a little project i've been doing while on a break both to unwind and also because my brain is hyperfocused on this: recreating a certain beta duke nukem 3d map known as AHB-Space from the publicly available info:- a demo reel- map schematics- a few screenshots- 2 horrible quality tv show recordings- a few textures pulled from the publicly available betas (like the computers in the last screenshot)mostly the demo reel and schematicsit's mostly complete by now, not entirely but the vast majority is there :3a lot of the rooms aren't really shown in any of the screenshots/videos (mostly various vent passages, but also e.g. mess hall), so those are my interpretations instead. But at least when a location is visible I try to match it as precisely as I couldbut yeah - nobody knows if these betas will ever be available, so might as well remake itif they end up being released, will be interesting to look at what I did and didn't get right

anyone knows decent headphones? :boosts_ok_gay:My current headphones are Razer Opus and they are starting to fall apart (as in, I had to glue them back together multiple times by now), so I'm looking for a replacement. Requirements:- ANC- Over-ear. My ears can't handle the common earbuds design that goes in the ear canal; I'm fine with airpods-style ones (regular ones, not airpods pro), but these don't have ANC- BT + wired connection, ideally 3.5mm because I don't have a lot of spare USB ports- Being able to work wired while powered off or charging - my current ones can do that and I was surprised to learn it's not universal (and in particular, Luna's Bose headphones can't do that)- No mobile app requirements for pairing devices. Luna's headphones require that and it was a big problem when her phone screen broke that one time. In comparison, mine can be paired by holding the power button on the headphones themselves- Reasonably recent, i.e. that would still be possible to find in stores - otherwise I can just get the same ones as I have rnOtherwise I don't care too much, e.g. multiple audio sources would be nice but it's not a requirement
