@torvalds GNU emacs can do all those things. Many of the key bindings would be the same as microemacs already, and those that aren't are easily (for varying values of easy) changed.But obviously you already know about GNU Emacs, so maybe there's a reason you didn't mention for ruling it out?

#Hiking to Window Rock north of Espanola, #NewMexico yesterday. We stopped at the little shrine on the way. We had great weather and there wasn't too much ice on the trail coming down from the window. (Today it's snowing a little.)

As of this afternoon, add @wikipedia to the list of websites that need Javascript to load stylesheets, so the page looks awful without JS enabled.Disappointed.

I'm giving a speech at #Toastmasters today related to a trip we took back in 2001, specifically our experiences in a delightful small mountain town, Invermere, on the way to Jasper. That made me want to review photos from that trip. I don't have any saved photos from Invermere, but I have plenty from Jasper. I particularly loved all the waterfalls and that amazing turquoise color of the water (apparently from scattering by super fine "glacial flour").#waterfall #glacier #Canada #Alberta
