I had never heard this before this evening..."LuluLegacy@LegacyofLulu1hAfter the Chernobyl nuclear disaster on April 26, 1986, Soviet authorities used cloud seeding to manipulate weather patterns and limit the spread of radioactive fallout. As winds shifted northeast, threatening to carry contaminated clouds toward Moscow and other populated areas, military pilots seeded approaching rain clouds with silver iodide. This induced artificial rainfall over rural parts of Belarus, causing radioactive particles (such as cesium-137 and iodine-131) to precipitate out of the atmosphere and fall to the ground, effectively washing the fallout from the air before it reached major Russian cities. This operation, sometimes called "Operation Cyclone," involved aircraft like TU-16 bombers loaded with artillery shells containing seeding agents. While it protected urban centers in Russia, it caused disproportionate contamination in Belarus—where about 60% of the total Chernobyl fallout landed—rendering hundreds of villages uninhabitable and contributing to long-term health issues, including a sharp rise in thyroid cancer. The Belarusian population was not informed at the time, and the decision has been criticized as a deliberate sacrifice of rural areas to safeguard political and economic hubs."

Okay. Even though it's rooted in false history, it's funny.

@judgedread @Escoffier Garmin doesn't make a LINUX app. So what. I can just use the Garmin app on my e/os/ device to do software updates and syncs. Other than that, MINT has been flawless. LibreOffice imports and exports MS Office docs almost flawlessly. Cost? $0. If I had a company with a thousand employees I would use a version of LINUX on the estate endpoints.

This doesn't break my heart. I can tell you from experience that once someone has separated themselves from the grip of habitual or social drinking they begin to wonder why they didn't stop drinking much sooner."The alcohol industry isn’t collapsing because of one bad year — it’s losing billions because an entire generation quietly opted out. Gen-Z drinks less, starts later, and questions why alcohol is even necessary in the first place. Raised in a world of mental-health awareness, fitness culture, and constant self-optimization, they see alcohol not as freedom or fun, but as a liability. Add rising living costs, better non-alcoholic alternatives, and a social life that happens online as much as in bars, and the result is structural decline. This isn’t a trend the industry can market its way out of — it’s a generational shift in values."

@NitroDubs @alexmussolini88 Stepping on to the MARTA is like stepping into a 3rd world shithole country. The first time I took the MARTA I was going from the airport to Peach Tree St. A nigger sitting next to me turns to me and says, "You know what MARTA stands for don't ya? Moving Africans rapidly through Altlanta." I must have had the first MARTA ride look on my face.

@NitroDubs @alexmussolini88 I didn't know what to say so I just said, "No kidding?"That was about 20 years ago. I was covering Georgia Pacific and began making that MARTA ride a few times a month from the airport for a few years. This was prior to my red/j-pill awakening but it was on that train that I noticed for the first time in my life people with no soul in their eyes. Most of the niggers had nothing behind their blank stares. It was creepy and something I never understood until becoming red-pilled.

@LudditeMan Not long ago I was listening to a guest on a podcast I sometimes tune into. The guest was opining on how we are so engrossed in all of these things we can't control and how it is destroying our ability to be present and enjoy the moment. While I know it is important to have presence if we remain present without ever anticipating what evil is doing to undermine the present and the future there will be no future.
