Thank you! I've been saying this forever. I also agree that the instance timeline is a useful way for a community to come together, but I think that can be accomplished differently while everyone can still have their primary identity in one place. And of course, someone should also be able to have multiple separate identities if they want to!

If your web app uses Twitter to log users in, this would be a great time to add some alternative authentication methods! You may also want to make a plan to handle account recovery for people who have already deleted their Twitter accounts...

Made 108oz hot sauce. The store was low on habanero peppers so about half of this is red Fresno peppers, and it's noticeably more red than normal. I forgot to use an apple this time, and also used just 2tsp corn starch. It seemed to work fine though, especially after blending.

wow, Hive Social won't let you add any photos unless you grant it access to *all* your photos. Normally on iOS you can choose to give an app access to only select photos, but it recognizes this and prevents you from doing anything. Super sketchy, will not be using this.

Once you give it access to all photos, there's nothing stopping it from combing through your camera roll and doing whatever it wants, like scanning your photos for location data, uploading hashes of the images for later matching, or probably worse things I can't think of.

I've been making so many graphics in Keynote lately for use in videos and blog posts, but I really wish there was a quick keyboard shortcut to export the current slide as a PNG. Right now it takes about 9 clicks to export a slide.

PSA: If you use Twitter to sign in to stuff, you should double check you have another way to get in to those accounts asap. With Twitter charging ??? for API access next week, you have no way of knowing whether the apps you use are going to pay that.

This hotel room is trying real hard to not be a sad motel on the side of the highway in a San Francisco suburb. Also, no I am not here for DreamForce, but that is why I am stuck at a hotel out here instead of the $2000/night downtown hotels.
