@bumbervevo I have used Frontier to host a web server, and I had no issues using port 443. Since you say you can hit 80 fine, I assume you have forwarding set up on 443, right?

Windows is a neat hobby project, but I don't see it becoming big and professional like Linux.

@Mundon And WINE becomes the primary way to run Windows applications on Windows. Wouldn't that be wild.

@af @sir It's like a switch statement in C but instead of the cases being values they are types. It's called pattern matching if you want to learn more about it, there are a lot of really cool things that pattern matching can do.In this case it looks like it is being used as a way to handle errors by matching against an error type, or succeeding by matching against some value otherwise.

@lukeGreat video. I grew up in the country, and I got to stay with a friend in NYC for a few months. It is pretty crazy how easy it is to find work in the country vs the city.

@TheFuzzStone I don't get why a fee would be so high on Monero. With BTC and ETH my understanding is that fees like those usually have to do with cleaning coins. But on Monero all coins are clean already :thonking:

@Twelve I played around with a USB fan with my Raspberry Pi, and it was surprisingly good at keeping it cool under high loads. It definitely isn't quiet, but maybe it could be a solution if you don't find anything else.

@Twelve Honestly I just ran a Minecraft PE server on it and connected. That was enough to max out the CPU on my Raspberry Pi, and then I just used this command to get the temp:cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/tempThere are definitely better ways to do it, I just wanted something basic.

@Twelve if you don't plan to use it as a laptop again, it doesnt really matter if you wear out the battery. It can be nice to use it because if your power goes out, the server doesn't have to reboot. It can just reconnect to the internet when it becomes available again.

Saying you get free games with {Xbox Live, Playstation Plus} is like saying you get free movies with a Netflix subscription.
