@simon Hey Simon. Also played with Vicuna 7b a while back and was similarly amazed. Amazing how much knowledge can be compressed into a few GB of weights. As regards to tools for LLMs, have you seen anyone giving LLMs access to linters and static type checkers to improve the code they generate in an iterative manner? Seems like low-hanging fruit but I couldn't find anything of that sort when I searched.

@simon Can you further embed the embeddings returned from the llms using a UMAP to get a graphical overview? (more of rethorical question, I think I know the answer ... would be nice to see in a tool).

@simon how could I not know the well-known binary format. Funnily enough, this might even be useful for my work.

@simon that would have been sensible and it was suggested here https://github.com/pydantic/pydantic/discussions/5402 but rejected by the pydantic folks. Would have saved me a bunch of work.
