So I have a TTRPG ready for version two. Rules light systems are lazy. It’s the equivalent of ”LOL make it up” as a design philosophy. Rules should help a GM run encounters of all kinds. This allows for more creativity at the table when the heavy lifting is done. It’s easier to remove or modify rules than to add them on the fly.
