Criminalizing homelessness is straight up evil. Businesses and residents certainly have an understandable need to not have their fronts and egresses blocked by campers, but for those that have been marginalized by our failing systems, and don't have anywhere to go beyond what they can walk to, making the only option an expensive incarceration system that puts profits into the hands of a few is absolutely the wrong way to go.#scotus #homelessness #politics #uspolitics #homeless

@john - I have never tried to run it on ARM, but on Intel/AMD Krita needs a decent bit of RAM (at leasr 4gb, better with 8gb or more ime) to function smoothly, as well as a decent gpu, and well supported touch displays (such as Wacom) if you are going to use it for stylus drawing input as well. You can get away with less and it will still run, but that task is a bit ambitious for even the most powerful Raspberry Pi.

@john - with ARM, you generally need to use a distro that is optimized for it, as well as that has been specifically ported for the device. I use Ubuntu Touch on some ARM smartphones and tablets, but generally the smoothest apps on it are written to be native for the OS, or it uses containers to run Android and Linux desktop apps, for which compatibility can be hit or miss. For Mac ARM there has been really good progress from Asahi Linux though https://asahilinux.org/

This is some bs. If AOSP development is made less publicly accessible it does NOT " simplify things for developers" but rather it hinders it for de-googled privacy respecting ROMs and their device ports. @Nonilex - those oil exports are primarily crude oil too, which then gets processed in US refineries, adding profits to US based coroorations and literally fueling US based jobs. But The Cheetoh, in his total ignorance of even basic economics, is clueless on that.

@Nonilex - ugh, if this ends up escalating to a broader Shia vs Sunni conflict, it will truly destabilize and devastate the region even further. I wonder how much general populations in the Arab world will continue tolerating living under governments that are inherently corrupt, that have ignored violence in Gaza, and that are now bombarding each other?
