some #CreativeCoding in #py5 over the past few daysThis took ideas from my previous sketch, and used noise to guide some random walkers. As the differences in noise location were minuscule (0.000002) this resulted in lines that almost followed the exact same path, but slightly diverged as the went along, resulting in cool ribbons of color.I spent days generating these, as they were relaxing and fun to watch grow. The tough thing was stoppingCode at @Codeberg https://codeberg.org/TomLarrow/creative-coding-experiments/src/branch/main/x_0047

The web is a really unfriendly place when you use a browser that blocks cookies and JavaScript, and do it from behind a VPNAlmost every article I try and read wants me to prove I'm a human in order to read it. Find the chimneys, click the crosswalks, hold this button, solve this math problemI'm not trying to leave a comment, I'm just trying to read an html documentI can't imagine how hard it is for someone who uses a screen readerThe web is supposed to be simple, how did we mess it up?

I have been on my fair share of project post mortems in my career, looking back at projects to understand why dates were missedThey are always good examinations of processes and technologies used, and how they could be improved to make things go smoother in the future. These are all good things and often helpBut these post mortems always carefully tiptoe around the real reason the date was missed: Someone pulled a date out of their ass that wasn't possible to meet in the first place

First time #3dprinting with trichromatic filament. 3 separate colors bonded together in one filament. Due to the way it flows straight through the hot end the color on the outside, changes based on the direction the nozzle is traveling, changing the color of the object

No random open source application, I do not want to join your Discord channel for support. There's this really cool technology called hypertext markup language, and if you use it for your documentation another piece of amazing technology called a search engine can help me find the answer I'm looking forAnd the real magic is you only have to answer it once and the answer helps anyone. You don't have to answer the same question every day. This frees you up for more fun development

@beardalaxy @Zerglingman "everyone can see it and also comment on it"Everyone who registered to be a part of the discord server you mean. If you truly wanted everyone to see and comment on it, it would be posted in a public place, not behind closed doors.

Had fun doing some #CreativeCoding in #py5 this afternoon. Lots of dots, sized and colored based on noise.Enjoyed getting back at it after some time awayCode: https://codeberg.org/TomLarrow/creative-coding-experiments/src/branch/main/x_0100/x_0100
