Any NAS folks live in or around Washington DC? Whats it like right now? My son is desperately wanting to go up there for his 10th bday in May. I would love to make it happen but a little nervous given the circumstances of this country...just looking at possibilities.

I dont spend a lot of money on myself and never really ask for any big ticket items but this year I really wanted a sauna. I researched and researched and found one that would work for us and it finally came. I stayed up late and set it up and it. Was. Worth. It. I couldnt sweat for 4 years while on prednisone so I now have this weird obsession with it. It felt amazing!

Listening to the show and painting the first side of the fish. Still more fins to add and shading etc but its coming along. And I have learned a ton about what I dont wanna do on all the other fish I have to make. 😂🙃

How do you handle it when people are angry at you? My default is to run, shut everyone out and hide, though in this case, I have done absolutely nothing wrong and I refuse to shut down this time but it angers me the situation got a rise out of me. Any great books on whatever psychological thing this is??

@mikegastin Maybe? I think I am trying to figure out why this person being angry at me caused such a literal, visceral reaction in me. I know I probably care too much about the situation and feel like my integrity is being questioned.

Signs you homeschool....my kids made some poor choices yesterday so today they have extra work to do today and they have to do some of it together. Upon explaining the work, they got excited and decided it will all be easy. 🤷♀️ I guess I need to work on my parenting instead 😂

Working through US history with my kids today....we read the Declaration of Independence today and my oldest said 'sounds like we need to declare independence from Joe Biden. He fits these definitions of a tyrant.' I mean....she isn't wrojg to a degree.
