@ryo @Misato @Yorsshitposter Meanwhile, I use older consoles to watch videos from a flashdrive on a TV from over two decades ago. Using the Wii now. But that's just because the cable that I use for my PS2 is defective and fucks up the audio, and I still have to get another one. I installed a media player on my PS2, but my PS3 is better for that. The Wii is better than the PS2 for that too (player runs more formats, I'm pretty sure), except it has horrible fucking menus with forced motion controls because Nintendo is the Apple of gaming except not overpriced.

@digdeeper @exosome @scalar I'm somewhat neutral, I don't know that they exist, but I can't say for certain that they don't. This entire post is basically "I don't know" and it's not very well-written, so keep expectations low. But that's a weak argument when almost the entirety of medicine is a scam, and exists to create problems to then never solve and "treat" with drugs, but never cure and definitely never prevent, especially with natural substances. You can also say 'if "global warming" doesn't exist, what are the researchers doing then?', and various other equivalent arguments. I have also seen doctors say that viruses don't exist, so, it doesn't seem to be a universal consensus. There was also that Pfizer vice-president (I think?) guy, that is a virologist and says that in the last two years he realized that his entire field is a fraud. Of course, it could be a psyop.My position is that I just don't know. Humanity is very good at both being wrong and believing in nonsense. Not that long ago, people were irradiating themselves and destroying their bodies with radium because the establishment told them it was good for them. Right now, we are being bombarded with poison (and virus means poison, so I guess from that angle they definitely exist) from all angles (and the consequences don't have to be immediate or universal, poisoning yourself over your life can result in severe illness much later, or in getting sick occasionally until your body cleans itself up).I can't find where I saw it, but I have seen that previous "epidemics" were correlated with the amount or type of poison in the food supply being changed by the government at the time. A lot of epidemics could simply be a consequence of that weakening people's immune systems, with or without viruses. Corona could just be the flu, easily. The lab leak itself could be some kind of a psyop, especially when the disease itself is so damn weak that people wouldn't even have been aware of it if it wasn't for the propaganda campaign. What kind of a bio weapon is that? Anyway, it could also be the other way around, maybe viruses not existing are the psyop, I have no idea. The solution is the same regardless when we know who is controlling this system, at least superficially (maybe not the black nobility behind them, or committee of 300, or whatever people want to call them).Considering just how corrupt and evil people are, and how stupid most of them are, and how they claim to know what they don't, I don't really believe anything that I can't confirm myself. And I'm not a biology guy, it's just not mathematical and practical enough for me, so there was never any chance of me being in the position to verify that. From what I heard, the entire concept of viruses comes from when the Rockefellers were taking over the entire medical establishment, and their argument was what it always was, "believe us and throw out everything else or you don't get the money".

But I'm done just accepting anything as true just because the fake science establishment said so. I don't know, that's my answer.All I know is that people get sick, and it happens because of reasons. Reasons like poor sanitation and bacteria, poor diet, and also poisons in the food and water. Those are observable and logical, but I don't know about other things. Naturally, they can also be used intentionally to get people sick on purpose. If there are other reasons, maybe we simply don't know them because we are a species of barely-sentient monkey men and we don't actually know that much about the world.Oh, and there are other possibilities. Even if viruses don't naturally exist, they can still be made artificially. You're probably not going to find a unicorn out there in the wilderness, but is it impossible to make one? No.

@exosome @scalar @digdeeper Oh, I forgot the most important point, which is that it doesn't matter whether or not viruses exist. People get sick because of microscopic things regardless, and you still want to prevent that and treat it with things that are known to work regardless, and the establishment still makes people sick on purpose regardless of the method, and bioweapons are still a thing, so it doesn't actually change things all that much. Arguing about it just divides the opposition even more, which is probably the point, regardless of which one is right. I don't even see the point of bringing it up.

The biggest problem with the SheGayRu Wiiamote is that you have to remove the batteries after every time you use it, because it drains them crazy fast, even while it's on. If you put batteries in it and leave it off for a week, it will still kill the batteries. Even with the classic controller hooked up to it, you still have to use a cursor to select things, and it makes it take more space on the table too. The GameCube controller could solve all of that, but it's fucking Nintendo, so it doesn't work, because people wouldn't use their stupid gimmicks if they weren't forced to.Oh, and just in case you ask yourself why I even own one, it's because the Wii is a GameCube but with easier piracy. Well, at least now. Back in the day I actually wanted to play a few Wii games, though it being a GameCube was a big selling point when I couldn't emulate it quite perfectly enough. Nowadays, it's a GameCube, but less convenient, which is why I barely ever play it. May not seem like much, but having to put batteries, select things in the menus and then take them off, that is enough for me to never play it when I can just open dmenu and type games.

@ryo @Misato @Yorsshitposter I hate wireless shit with a passion. And you can look up complaints about it, it's a common one about the Wiiamoto. Anyway, after I leave everything I have behind and lose it all, if I get consoles again, I won't get a Wii, I'll just get a GameCube and mod it. I assume you can run games on it from ethernet by now, or at least mod it to run stuff from an SD card. Ideally, every console should just be hooked up to a file server, no disks, no failing optical drives, no nonsense. I modded my PS2 to do that and have seen things like that being done with the Dreamcast, and I assume I can be done on the GameCube as well. That's how every disc-based console should be, because the drives as way too unreliable. Flash carts (like the Everdrive) are enough for superior cartridge-based consoles, though. Then there's also the MiSTer, that can replace a lot of hardware.

@ryo @Misato @Yorsshitposter In a LAN? No way. Old console optical drives are slow as fuck. On the PS2, it's faster than the optical drive, but the drive is faster than USB 1.0 (which is what the PS2 has, which is slow as fuck and makes cutscenes not run properly). A hard drive is also faster, of course, but I have the slim PS2.

@ryo @morena I only suspend this computer. Reboot when I update, which generally happens no more than once a month. Anyway, I can see the timeline after restarting the browser, but only once. Stops working after that. Fantastic software.
