@Pasturepaul @adam so you've fallen to the streaming concept. podcasting isn't that. so there's a file for each episode. the podcaster generates a file called rss that tells your app what files have been made and where to get them. when new ones come out, the app downloads them. once listened to they are usually automatically deleted. so no need for "buffering"

@ParkerTechGuy im a machinist, so when setting up its not uncommon to have to cut em down. Ill usually just use a belt sander to grind them down a bit, doesnt usually take long, and can chamfer the edge at the same time

@Onionkink i think it mostly has to do with the last century's use of Scofield bible, and subsequent worship of Israel --they were solely chosen to produce a solid bloodline for Christ, and once he appeared, they were to follow their king, instead followed a synagogue of Satan..but much of fundamentalist and evangelical Christianity believes in an odd manipulated "prophecy" where non contextual items are given primacy to fit the narrative
