I came across the "don't use gamified language learning apps" discourse once again. Someday I may write a little guide on how to learn a language and talk about my own experience, tricks and tips.But not right now.My two cents right now are: use whatever bootstrap that lets you play with the language until you can almost read 3yo contents in your target language. Then start reading children's stories.Yes, you'll learn that "the crocodile said hello to the rabbit" but it's the first step toward 2h video essay about communism on YouTube. Don't get discouraged, it's all going according to keikaku*The most important at first is to get a first feeling of the language and a general idea of how it works. Even learning the writing system can be done on these apps or on SRS apps, nobody cares. Just get started then read at your level, then read things you like (mangas typically) then read articles and books. Then fediverse* keikaku means "plan"

Plus je fais l'advent of code en Go, plus je suis tiédasse sur ce langage tbh.Déjà je suis une Rust drone, donc nécessairement j'ai des a priori :^). En plus, j'ai fait du Go au travail et j'y ai vu des fonctions si inutilement longues et des éléments de syntaxes si... go-core qu'au final ça rend le langage aussi illisible que les autres langages soi-disant trop compliqués.Bah là... tant qu'on fait des boucles et des tableaux c'est fine. Puis t'as des exercices où tu te dis omg omg omg je fais faire des goroutines et dedans ça va se channel de partout et même je ferai un scheduler et et et Et en fait c'est toujours overkill, pas adapté, les performances vont avoir le même profile que des coroutines Lua (donc à part que Go est plus rapide tout court, bah si c'est infiniment long en Lua ça le sera aussi en Go, parce que by design du O(m * n) c'est du O(m * n).En vdv, j'ai toujours tendance à penser que c'est fait pour implémenter des applications server-like, avec de l'IO de partout et c'est tout. Sinon c'est juste un langage ok. Ses features et propriétés ne brillent jamais vraiment. En fait ce qui fait que Go c'est pas juste un Lua statique, donc ses goroutines et les channels, les interfaces etc, bah ça brillent jamais vraimentDonc selon moi, on reste sur un raisonnable Pascal > Go. :^)
