       whoops; there goes big social(down the drain) if this is true, then everything about fb is fake, in every detail. we are being conned till the moon turns blue. I hope they get punished for that with bankrupcy. It is more good news for the distributed web. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-01-24/facebook-slides-after-report-claims-50-its-users-are-fake

       @kaniini How do you equip a site so that if you post a link on the fediverse: Masto/pleroma. That you get the link displayed as happens in facebook? I know facebook uses the OG open graph meta tags. does Masto and pleroma do the same? Or is that not possible yet?

       @kaniini so both should support these?<meta property='og:url' <meta property='og:type' <meta property='og:title' <meta property='og:description' <meta property='og:image'

       @kaniini i think the fediverse could dodge article 13 and article 11. because it is no single entity, no single platform. all the nodes and instances are small enough to not be noticed. So i think if Europe discoverse the fediverse after this travesty takes law, we will see an influx of a hundred million people.

       @lain it has truth to it. I remember a book from a photographer who visited old tribes around the globe and documented them before and after the intro of western modern food. Before their teeth where pristeen, after, rot sets in
