@htimsxelaRGB is being actively developed. I'm not aware of another project that could be used to issue tokens on lightning, but if you feel really ambitious you can start over LNP/BP protocol for key tweaking and develop your own protocol

A chinese friend that live abroad just got his Wechat account frozen, and received a call from a chinese stasi agent to tell him "not to talk about things you shouldn't talk about". He also said he will call again in one month. It's getting more interesting when you know that most people use Wechat as a quasi bank account, and having your account frozen also means you'll lose control on the money that's on it. Do you see where all this is going?

I'm getting a bit concerned by the number of people I know that will take one of the covid vaccines, not so much because they'll have it, but because they appear to do it either out of mindless compliance (they have no idea what it is nor what it's supposed to do or not, let alone the trade-offs), either because they're being blackmailed (they want to travel abroad this summer for example), they know it but just think they can't do anything about it.Sometimes a bit of the mix of the two.

@berkesThat's fine, you did your research, weight the trade-offs and did what seemed the best for your situation.I'm talking about people that have no idea about why they're doing this, and just take it either out of compliance ("everybody's doing it"), or for misplaced reasons because they didn't think much about it ("to protect my parents", ignoring that vaccines are not made to prevent you from getting the disease and propagating it).

@htimsxelaI don't know which direction Bitcoin price will move, but I'm pretty sure it will have very little to do with the infrastructure bill.There are more powerful forces that could influence the price of Bitcoin right now, and I might be wrong but I think those forces will drive the demand up, big time.

@htimsxela@michaelfolksonI'll try to be optimistic here, and argue that the post covid world is going to push a lot of people into hardcore anarchism, and that we can expect some of them to get interested and involved in Bitcoin with a mindset that is let's say closer to its roots. So maybe we'll be surprised by the new entrants in the months and years to come.
