       Fucking #Proton. I counted on you, and you let me down. VPN is still not working, despite all the big words about the holy fight with censorship. And now I'm basically locked out of my Proton mailbox, because slow Tor seems to be unable to digest its new shiny UI. 😆This is all so annoying, that sometimes I want to fall on the floor and cry from helplessness.

       @adamasnemesis Maybe not vile, that's too strong a word. :) But what is Spotify of all places trying to achieve by doing that? There's absolutely no sense in it. First they blocked access to their service from Russia, and then they went and deleted accounts. What for? What does it change on the global scale of things? :)It's not even all that great of a punishment to me. Rather it looks petty and generally very silly.

       And here we go. The first criminal case under the new gay propaganda law was initiated against an independent publisher Popcorn Books. They used to publish a lot of LGBT YA literature, both foreign (translated) and Russian.To the very last moment I hoped that they wouldn't come after books. You know how it looks.        The Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre has announced it is removing works by Russian composers from its repertoire.The first ones to go are Shostakovich and Stravinsky.Because, of course, Stravinsky (of all people! 😆) is certainly "too closely associated with this country’s aggressive policy".Although, I suppose, this harms Lithuanian public more.        I wonder how Anton Rubinstein and Alfred Schnittke (off the top of my head) would be classified. Technically they are Jews, but had lived on the Russian territory. 🤔However, seeing how Stravinsky who had left Russia even before the Bolshevik revolution has not been spared, I'm not sure what the criteria is.

And they might believe this seeming nobleness of: "People of Russia are not our enemy, blah-blah-blah"Nobody in Russia believes it, of course.
