@Starlit_Fire I think this statement veers dangerously into intersectional feminism. Which perhaps you intended and subscribe to. But while I agree that homophobia, lesbophobia, and racism and other undesirable -isms are not things to welcome, I also do not feel feminism needs to be center the fight against these things. Not at all. Third wave feminism's obsession with including the fight for every oppressed minority out there is what led us down the dangerous road of trans inclusion in femininity. 2nd wave feminism, which is by, for, and exclusively about women, is the way out of this, I feel.

Honestly, the BLM movement has made me really angry at American society. Hear me out. I think creating a movement around black lives mattering and forcing societal change around that is fantastic and long overdue. That's not what makes me mad. What pisses me off is that suddenly all these white, middle class men suddenly have the energy and conscience to get out onto the streets to protest, update all their social media handles with slogans, and inject social justice demands into every conversation. WHERE HAVE YOU ALL BEEN FOR WOMEN ALL THIS TIME? They just can't be bothered about any of women's concerns when every many has women in his life, but now all these privileged assholes who--let's face it--don't even know any black people in their actual lives and probably don't truly care about them can get worked up about black lives. I am NOT buying it. It's offensive to black people, and it's offensive to women. It just feels like the emptiest of virtue signalling and appropriation, and it has deeply underscored that men literally couldn't care less about women.

@queenhypatia Sorry, I just feel I have to point this out in every AOC thread: she is vocally pro-trans extremist demands. She supports self-ID and the erasure of women's sex-based rights. She is not fighting for women and is definitely not gender critical.

@meghanmurphy @Berco I can’t tell if you are being shortsighted here or unfair. Meghan, surely you of all people must realize why so many of us are exclusively on social media and not organizing IRL? Because we will be fired. That is literally the only reason I stay anonymous, and it is an extremely powerful and valid reason. I would love to organize and meet real women IRL. But I cannot risk destroying my life and my partner’s life. I am useless to the feminist movement both I and my partner are blacklisted and unemployed.

@kobayashimaru I roast a whole sweet potato then quickly sautee kale or another green in balsamic vinegar and top the whole thing with cottage cheese and paprika. Sounds odd, but extremely minimal work and very healthy.

@senryu @mk @4WPub @Ilongedformuskrats Unfortunately it is both. Far fewer women than men enroll in STEM, AND women leave the workforce due to sexism as well as unaccomodating workplace practices around pregnancy and childcare.
