Ukraine sees those regions as part of its sovereignty, and Russia’s demands (Crimea, DPR, LPR) would gut Ukraine’s independence. I get Russia’s security concerns about NATO, but invading doesn’t solve that—it makes Ukraine (and others) more scared and pushes them closer to the West. What do you think about that?
