Every state on earth is ruled by Capital. What some call "socialist policies" are only mitigations of harms caused by capitalism. These mitigations are allowed not out of humanitarian principles but rather to avoid pushing the population to the point where it revolts.The employee employer relationship (wage labor, aka wage slavery) is indeed a key aspect of capitalism but it needs to be understood that this relationship and it's pervasive, almost unavoidable prevalence, required Enclosure, which is a very important foundational element of capitalism.Private property is another key element of capitalism but it should be noted that it the significant part of this is not the private ownership by an individual but rather the real meaning of the word "private". The key aspect of this is exclusion of non-owners. It is this denial of access to resources needed to live that allows the system of wage labor to dominate us all since most of us have no other realistic option.There is nothing "free" about a market that you are compelled to participate in under penalty of starvation or violence.So Enclosure is the relevant principle here, not private ownership. Capital doesn't care if it is owned by an individual or a state, as long as your access is restricted.States that people have called "communist" or "socialist" are in fact State Capitalism. There will still be outliers and there will still be self-defense (individually and probably in cooperative ways in social relationships or communities). Shit happens.What we're saying is that violence wouldn't be the core feature that holds the whole system together as it does now. I don't know if I'd even call what we're calling for a "system" at all.
