@calculsoberic None of my family know about gender stuff rn. They know my sexuality and are supportive of it. But working up the courage to figure out how to be vulnerable enough to bring them along with me on my gender journey!

So frontbencher Yvette Cooper ordered #Labour MPs not to attend anti fascist demonstrations. God, couldnt have the #LabourParty looking like it's against fascism now, could we?! For the last couple of years I’ve been really bothered by the fact that I haven’t cried in ages. That and the fact that it’s so fucking difficult to. I could never understand why.But in therapy, I discovered that the reason why I can’t cry is because I don’t feel safe enough to. Which means that I’m walking around 24/7 in such a tense state that i rarely feel safe to express my emotions fully.I don’t know how to dig myself out of this, but now I know, I’m trying my best to seek safety

I’m trying to notice when I feel safe regulated and good, to try and replicate those conditions. But to also notice the conditions around me when I’m feeling deeply overwhelmed and bad, so that I can try and adapt to avoid those situations.I’m hoping that it’ll help me build a life where maybe… I can feel my feelings again? So I can live life in color, not just black and white. But I also understand why it’s been like that. There’s reasons but they no longer serve me and it’s time to let go

@futurebird I think this all the time. You know what would be REALLY innovative? A phone that keeps working as good as the day I bought it. There's no reason for my phone, which is more powerful as my best laptop from 12 years ago should become a slow, laggy piece of shit after 2 years.
