       #introduction I&#39;m an elder millennial that did some time in the early dotcom industry and I have the disillusionment to prove it. In my heart, I work for social change; it&#39;s rarely been lucrative but I don&#39;t need much to get by.        #introduction I live off-grid in an area that was once rich in counter-culture ideals but most of those have died away and been replaced with status quo capitalism. Being forced to slow down, and being more conscious about the day-to-day ways I (do or don&#39;t) participate in society has been a huge boon for my mental health. It&#39;s definitely not for everyone - sure, life is a little harder sometimes but life&#39;s hard no matter what, at least I&#39;ve chosen my poison. 2/x

       #introduction These days I&#39;m working as a labor organizer with healthcare workers; it is by far the most fulfilling and most stressful work I&#39;ve done. This is an exciting time for the US #labor movement and it gives me some hope for the future and younger people.
