@zlatko @fitheach None of my siblings live in/near the town I’m from so I don’t have an excuse to go back, but the lack of light pollution makes for incredible viewing of the night sky there. (Population density is close to zero. 😂)

@drhafezster It makes me cry to see Australia in the top ten, given our record on indigenous incarceration and deaths in custody. What does that say about the countries further down the list? I hope all countries improve.

@fitheach The farms produce oil and leather, I think, rather than meat. I’ve eaten emu. It’s a darker meat than chicken. I don’t recall the taste very well. Nothing special. Kangaroo is better.

I can’t remember the name of the bloke in charge of the Reserve Bank of Australia (and I don’t care), but I heard him on the radio today explaining to simple people like me that it’s a good thing that our major banks make billions of dollars of profit even though we’re in the middle of a cost-of-living crisis because banks need to be reliable. #AusPol #capitalism #banking #inflation
