@futurebird @nottrobin Adding on to your point, Get Out The Vote is mobilization, which can be done just before the election. Organization must be done continually. futureBird is mentioning "your organization" because (I think) we need organizations, not just ad hoc campaigns, to make lasting change. I can say that I've picked up several votes armed with a list of voters and a couple of dollars worth of flyers over a span of two hours many times.

@Krisss @Strandjunker No, Texas should exchange statuses with Puerto Rico.Texas can be a US Territory with no Senators and a tax policy decided in DC. Puerto Rico can be a state that sets its own tax policy and has two Senators.We can let Texas back in the Union after it stops gerrymandering and keeping such a huge percentage of its citizens from voting.
