       @tante I once read that sleep cycles are roughly 90 minutes, and if you have to get up in the middle of one, you feel very tired. So when I have to set an alarm I always try to calculate in increments of 90 minutes from my estimated sleep time (if at all possible). Either that or I sleep until I wake up, which is easier without kids, I know.

       @lethen @atomicpoet @osma @anderspuck Sorry, but from what I am told by people running their own email servers is that it is getting increasingly more complicated and needs jumping through some extra hoops in order to have your emails delivered to accounts on the big commercial email providers. All in the name of "filtering potential spam" or similar.

       @futurebird I remember the story of a couple with many books moving together into an apartment with limited room for shelf space. They prepared by making a database of all their books, including the measurements of each one, to help plan the optimal distribution within the shelves and to be able to find them again in their "optimal utilization of available space" challenge.
