I'm not sure about that, though; the neoliberal contagion that entangled obama isn't as powerful these days, and the reference point in the current administration, not a thousand points of light.In any case, it's a democrat and I'll kick the can full of fascism down the road for a bit longer.

       @futurebird @slothrop (on microwaving water) Only people who don't really drink tea do this.If tea is a hobby instead of a beverage, sure, but a lot of people drink tea just because they like it.     And that's drinking tea, just like the teaspotters do after they've gone through whatever rituals they want to do to prepare it.

       @yoused @futurebird Pardons are theoretically a way for the executive to make up for misjustices issued by the courts, so having the courts involved in the pardoning process would be bad.Publishing pardons, yeah;  if the executive gives a pardon, they need to say that they did it at that time.
