We need to talk about allies, friends, and the differences therein. @stopgopfox Personally, I only have one project in the works that I have gone as far on as I can without investment money that I don't have access to. Though I do develop assets and do odd jobs here and there for mod projects, indie animations, microprojects and the like.The stuff that I am working on right now is basically all retro style stuff. My current project is a side-scrolling space shooter with a bunch of modern elements attached to bring it up to modern standards.

@stopgopfox When I say modern standards, it's less grand than something like Ragnarök would entail, lol. I more mean that I am putting an increased emphasis on replayability and emergent gameplay, rather than purely on mechanical difficulty and high score acquisition that plagued the arcade generation.I am exploring a similar design philosophy as something like FTL or Darkest Dungeon and replacing the strategic elements with a skill-based one in the actual shooting gameplay.

I am still astounded at the amount of alleged leftists who still call me a hypocrite for supporting #Ukraine in the war. How is it in any way hypocritical to oppose tyranny?Usually I am anti-war, because wars are typically used as tools to enforce tyranny, but opposing war is a far cry from opposing the right of a people to fight for their freedom and self-determination. It is genuinely fascinating how so long after the release of #Andor it still REALLY gets under the skin of some people. When the sequels were still releasing, there were two camps of dissenters. One was rooted in logical arguments, like myself. No hate to the people that liked them, I just didn't. Then there were the vitriolic idiots who always pop up when a movie dares to not star a cishet white man... However, while they were reactionary, the cries of the bigots were derisive in nature. Not so with Andor. Almost all of the severe backlash I have seen regarding Andor has betrayed an odd amount of true, deeply rooted offense and disgust. Are there people for whom Andor is not their thing? Sure, but to the loudest of its detractors, I feel that they understand there is no logical reason to HATE the show. It is not offensively bad. In fact, it is well constructed. The show demonstrates once and for all that Star Wars was, is, and always will be, an anti-fascist work.#StarWars
