@REX I suspect that they will try to shoot down the last airplane for PR to "lead the Umma". We should have fighters on station or electronic warfare above to dissuade that.It should also fly out after dark. We can't give them a clear picture to publish for the next 30 years.

@ThomasWic Another reason to operate discreetly is to allow the bad operators into an Afghanistan in flux where you can find them and deal with them.The governments that support these factions will expend resources, and the bordering states will be preoccupied with border security.

It's such a muddle, @wziminer. All the while there are people simply not abiding by a ordinance, and merchants not wanting to become a police auxiliary who won't enforce it.Masks or no masks, whatever it is, what we have is a 18 month long lesson in how to confuse the public, abuse public trust, and break a social contract on a monthly basis. Most of our civil leaders are clumsy, stupid, and ham fished oafs.

@darulharb in the 80s in Philadelphia, I had a sign that said "no battery". I would take it out when I got home. Some time later, I locked it with a chain and padlock.I also never locked the car. Even a ratty 79 Rabbit was a worthy target.
