       @stux It's a very, very short step from refusing to accept election results and trying to force a win from a loss to just simply ending elections and democracy altogether...which is where the radical nationalists are headed.

       @stopgopfox Self-admission: I am *extremely* liberal. But here's what I see being needed:1) Progressives/liberals need frequently to accept less than 100% of what we want, as some is always better than none.2) Centrist/moderates need to remember that popular, progressive measures get them elected and energize the Dem base, not pandering to conservatives for votes they'll never get. Enough with the 'bi-partisanship' fetish. GOPers can't be negotiated with in good faith anymore.

       @Teri_Kanefield How the hell can Evan Corcoran invoke executive privilege when, as far as I recall, he never served in the former guy's administration in any capacity? Sure, he *almost* did in 2020 via Tim Shea, but again, I don't think that ever happened either. He later became one of TFG's lawyers in April 2022.And the whole stolen classified docs thing is a post-presidency crime anyway. So where does Corcoran have *any* grounds for an EP claim?

And it happens to be the Republicans' desire for white male supremacy and subjugated women and minorities.Easy way to do it to women is force them to be breeders whether they want to be or not. And in this case, the obvious subtext of these Nebraska Republicans is they want white babies mainly.
