Secondly I'm not saying that something which is socially engineered and enforced is a choice for everyone. People either comply or they find it impossible to comply to something which harms them and/or makes no sense to them. I'm saying that it can be a choice to reject and overwrite the heterosexual programming which I did. I used to love men and now I don't. I used to not love women and now I do. @RadicalCartoons @LadyMont This conversation is pretty difficult to have while you both still define orientation through sex and romance. I can say that I can be sexually attracted to women and feel nothing towards men if it's so so so so important and therefore fit the sex-centric criteria of being a lesbian as well. But for me orientation is about the vector of attention, about identification, connection between equals. The ability to have sex and romance are minor compared to that and they stem directly from what I described.

Nobody is born with any orientation. However lesbianism makes the most sense for women while heterosexuality makes zero sense and that's why it's being forced on everyone since birth, and that's why most women are straight. The conversion therapy is still going and it affects EVERYONE and it's successful in most cases. In nature there are no straight or gay animals at all and there's no evolutionary benefit in developing a system that makes it impossible for animals to engage in homosexual acts. So far the only animals with a "hardwired" block on homosexuality in most of the specie are humans which is super weird seeing how we're the most advanced and not governed by instinct.
