@MorpheusB These aren't policies because they have no plan, no costing, and have little or nothing to do with 'the problems' ..."Cut the permanent migration program by 25 per cent;"Perhaps he is going to replace migrant workers who do the jobs Australians refuse to do, with children ..."Stricter caps on foreign students"Better be prepared to answer the Universities begging for more money then."$5 billion to fund essential infrastructure"Car Parks...?"Allow first home buyers to access up to $50,000 of their superannuation for a home deposit."More proof of how out of touch he is ... as the majority of first home buyers are the under 40s and there aren't many who would have $50,000 ...Somebody really needs to tell him/them that not everybody is on a high tax payer paid salary ...Actually, he/they still wouldn't understand ... thick as bricks that lot.https://www.unisuper.com.au/super/compare-super-funds/how-much-super-should-i-have

Well ... that was interesting ...Did that Ballot Build thingy and wow! Talk about how old habits and how utterly ineffectual our Public Broadcaster and the Main Stream Media is on keeping us informed of other candidates ... I found parties and people I've never heard of!Or noticed on previous ballot papers.I suggest everybody have a look, even if just to confirm what we think we know about ourselves, because if the Greens really are Left Wing, it seems I'm far more Lefty than I thought :) And sadly that Labor is far more Right Wing than I thought too ...My results locally give me little choice but still hate the thought of putting Liberals third so may have to rethink that :)Seems I'm 92% Greens and 44% ALP (Reversed in 2022), Liberal 19%, then they allotted me PHONy 18%, Libertarian 14%, Independent and Family First 0% as no info on them.Senate ...and here's the surprise ...Greens 92%, Victorian Socialists 89%, Indigenous 86%, Legalise Cannabis 85% (I am against that), Sustainable somebody or other 79% Aust. Democrats 74%, FUSION 68% (never heard of) ... ALP down at 44% ... Liberals at 19% I have to do a lot of searching for info and their preferences before I fill out that postal vote.

@HardBeingGreen Saw a close relative by marriage so hooked on it even had a bong between his legs as he drove because it 'made his senses sharper' Couldn't hold down a job because of his erratic behaviour and took to violence on family when he couldn't get it ... Last straw was when he cut up their clothes and molested daughter ...I know not everybody does that or even gets so badly addicted ... but many suffer mental problems from overuse ... especially teens ... and even one in a family is too much.I have no objection to medicinal purposes but from my view, anything that interferes with the brain or is sucked down deep into the lungs is bad for you ... mentally and physically. And too many doctors with lung cancer patients only ask if they smoke tobacco ...

@cy @HardBeingGreen Yes I do ... whether as causal or a trigger is still being debated but there is evidence ..."A number of studies, both cross-sectional and prospective, find a prevalence of schizophrenia several times higher among cannabis users than in non-users. This association becomes stronger the lower the age of cannabis use onset, the higher the amount consumed and the higher the THC concentration are."https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9568200/"The Cannabis sativa plant contains many cannabinoids, including the principal psychoactive component, Δ9-terahydrocannabinol (THC), as well as cannabidiol (CBD). @heygeorgie I'm with you ... I've have dogs and cats but they were trained and kept at home or on leads when walked away from streets in case they piddled or pooped ... I hate sitting next to a dog while eating at a cafe... and shopping while hearing dogs barking and whining when tied up outside ... and dogs on leads lunging at me walking down the street because my shopping jeep was squeaking (according to the owner) and dogs inside shops, buses ... and don't get me started on dogs that stink!

@spinopsys Well ... it will certainly please the un)Holy Trinity, aka the Media Streaming Misinformation ...And the ABC Churnalists too will be wetting themselves with glee as they limber up for the "Tim Wilson Says ... "Especially as the name is all they'll have to change because Wilson has never had an original thought either ...Which makes them all even less (if that's possible) watchable and readable.
